TOA Athletes is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. In the Polynesian culture the name that you are given holds significant importance to your story. Across Polynesia, Toa translates into warrior, heart, brave, and bold. The TOA name encompasses our vision, goals, and aspirations for our youth. Hence, TOA was created.

The wide variety of programs we offer provides a safe, healthy, judgment-free, and constructive environment that in turn we hope will become a positive driver as they face the challenges they'll deal with in society. We aim to help youth who struggle with home instability, mental health, and multicultural identity issues to find a sense of acceptance and belonging using team sports as a tool and avenue to create meaningful friendships, build self-esteem, and recognize self-worth. We commit to bridging the gap between youth of all cultures (including indigenous), ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, and religions.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide the youth in our community with athletic programs empowering them to develop to their full potential- physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. We strive to provide a first-class organizational structure, a cohesive instructional philosophy, and a coordinated progression-based skill development program that teaches accountability, respect, teamwork, and hard work.

Our goal and objective, first and foremost, is to place the emotional and physical well-being of the athletes ahead of all other considerations. We encourage athletes to set measurable goals for themselves and work toward achieving and succeeding at those goals. We encourage our athletes to develop in the following areas:

Develop fitness and skills
Coordination, balance, and flexibility
Improve stamina
Healthy habits

Ability to challenge yourself and set goals
Improve concentration
Reduce stress and depression

Have fun
Form bonds of friendship
Learn good sportsmanship
Anti-bullying environment

We provide an opportunity for young athletes to have exposure to an organized youth sports program and be given an opportunity to train and compete with other athletes of similar ages and abilities in a supportive, fun environment. These goals will be achieved through organizing our dedicated volunteers, caring parents, instructional staff, and professional coaches who wish to partner with our great youth sport program.
